Dr. (Barr) Emmanuel Umana, FNIM, a Paul Harris Fellow, is from South-South Geo Political Zone of Nigeria. He holds certificates, in Education, Conflict Management and Kingian Nonviolence Education, Nonviolence Mobilization/Organization, LLB (Hons.), BL., M.Sc (Public Order and Information Management), M.Sc Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, M.Sc (Criminology) and Ph.D (Criminology).
He attended Mount Olivet Grammar School, Bodija, Ibadan, College of Education Uyo, University of Uyo, Nigerian Law School Victoria Island Lagos, Nigerian Institute of Advance Legal Studies Lagos, Centre for Nonviolence and Peace Studies University of Rhodes Island USA and Emory University Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
He is a Fellow of several Institutes which include: Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators; Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management; Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria; Nigerian Institute of Industrial Safety, Chartered Institute of Risk and Loan Management, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and International Institute of Professional Security. As a Corporate Governance Practitioner, he has held several positions in corporate world and Government. He is a versatile Professional with vast experience
Apart from being a financial member of Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) he has contributed immensely to the development of the Institute. He was Uyo Chapter Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Branch Chairman, LOC Chairman Annual National Management Conference Uyo 2012, LOC Chairman NIM South-South Summit Uyo 2017. He has been a Member of the Board of Fellows since 2014 till date, State Coordinator of NIM/NYSC Management Programme since 2006 till date, Lecturer Corporate Law and Business Ethics and a team player in NIM Affairs in the South-South Zone etc.

Dr. Emmanuel Umana is the President and Chairman of Council of the Institute of Strategic Public Negotiation where he conducts negotiation and conflict management workshops around the Nigeria and Africa. As an attorney, conciliator and mediator, Criminologist, Dr. Umana brings a unique multidisciplinary approach to making difficult conversations easier. In addition to his role with the Institute of Strategic Public Negotiation, Dr. Umana also serves as a Visiting Lecturer to many Universities and Polytechnics in Nigeria and was one time the Head of Department of Sociology at the Akwa Ibom State University for several years.
Victor Oshioluemoh is the Registrar/CEO and Secretary to Council at the Institute of Strategic Public Negotiation. Victor is a young dynamic Negotiator, who is passionate about using his experience as a mediator to address the psychological, emotional, and societal concerns that impact people in the workplace. His goal is to use his expertise to help people develop the skills and confidence they need to get more of what they want and deserve in the workplace and the society at large.
He is an Administrative, Business, Corporate Communication and Public Relation Executive. He has a Master of Science degree in Public Administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, 2016, a Bachelor of Science degree and a Diploma in Public Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, 2007 and 2000 respectively. His career objection is to contribute immensely to organizational growth through improved organizational efficiencies and maximum utilization of resources; a man with a focus undiluted, whose aim is to be an invaluable asset to result / goals oriented ptojects, and to create an edge that distinguishes the institute among others even in the contest of distinctions.
Having a work experience spanned 18years,7years of which was at top management level, his skills and areas of expertise include Administration, business strategy, managerial skill, public relations and corporate communication, corporate ethics and an executive ability in management.
His life depends on teaching people on how they can engage in crucial conversations that happen every day. He helps professionals manage conflict in order to improve communication, persuasion and negotiate strategically.
